WHAT WE DO : PRODUCTION
The key to delivering web projects on time and on budget is to have a solid process that all parties can follow.
Over the years, by combining traditional IT project management and industry experience, we have refined our process into the following four phases:
PHASE 1: DISCOVERY
The first phase is getting to know your brand and your needs. We'll look at what role the web can play in your business, what you are doing already, who your target audience(s) are, what your competition is up to, and how your requirement will fit with your overall marketing program.
This phase also gives us the opportunity to convince you of our ideas and suitability for the project, and to make commitments to your budgets and timescales.
PHASE 2: PLANNING
Rushing into a project often causes headaches further down the line, so we like to plan things properly.
Whilst this phase can take as long as, or longer than, the actual production time, developing a clear set of documents describing every aspect of the site and a comprehensive project plan can make all the difference when it comes to avoiding costly mistakes and delays.
PHASE 3: PRODUCTION
Taking the decisions made in the planning phase, our team of Developers, Designers, Copywriters and Testers will work closely with you to produce the finished site. As activity during this time can often be "behind the scenes", our Account Directors and Project Managers make sure you're informed every step of the way. You will also have full access to our Client Extranet, enabling you to schedule and track change requests, see the progress of any outstanding tasks, and (where we are working on a time and materials basis) to see a real-time overview of the hours of work carried out by each individual to date.
PHASE 4: DEPLOYMENT
The site has been built, tested and signed off, and now is the time to present it to your audience. We'll devise a plan to make it go smoothly, so you don't have to worry.
And we don't stop there. Once the site has been launched, we'll regularly help evaluate its performance and can provide any training or additional instruction you might need.
